I underwent surgery for a torn rotator cuff in early May of 2018, and recovery was difficult, to say the least. Despite religiously attending physical therapy multiple times a week and doing all the recommended exercises on a daily basis for six months, I still developed what they called a 'frozen shoulder.'
My range of motion was severely limited and discomfort was common.
